(1)  COMMUNICATION   SERVICES:


For exchanging  data  or  information among individuals companies on human require communication services on the internet


(2). FILE TRANSFER 


File transfer is considered as the transferring and shifting the files from documents multimedia pictures text pdfs and so on from one device Q another through the internet and computer network also for sharing transferring and sending files or data to multiple servers or machines either locally or remotely, humans consider the internet services for file transfer.


(3). WWW (WORLD  WIDE WEB)


The internet  is known for having a wide range of networks of computers interconnected through wireless connections using this network of computers humans may simply connect to the world wide web this www web is regarded as the collection of the web page and for accessing this www web browser using  the internet connection 


(4) DIRECTORY SERVICES:


Directory services are considered the set of software beneficial for keeping track of the information related to the company  customers etc 


(5) E-COMMERCE:


E-commerce is an abbreviated form of Electronic commerce refers to a business concept that ensures that humans users and businesses  can buy and sell goods using the internet just like amazon Flipkart and other such websites or mobile applications  

Q2: Define the following term related to screening display. 

(i) CRT (ii) Pixel (iii) Resolution

Ans: 

(i) CRT(Cathode ray tube);

CRT is the technology used in traditional computer monitors and televisions the image on a CRT display is created by firing electrons from the back of the tube of phosphors located towards the front of the display once the electron hit the phosphors they light up and are projected on the screen the color you see on the screen is produced by on by a blend of red referred as RGB. 

(ii) PIXEL:

A pixel is one of the small dots or squares that makes up an image on a computer screen the more pixel, the more photos look accurate. We decide the resolution of the picture based on pixels. older televisions have around 300,000 pixels, but new high-definition TVs can have more than two million pixels, producing a very sharp, clear image.

(iii) Resolution:

screen resolution is the number of pixels a screen can show horizontally and vertically. So, a screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 -- 1080p or full HD -- can display 1,920 pixels horizontally and 1,080 pixels vertically.


Q3: Define types of the scanning device. explain any three scanning devices with examples.

Ans: SCANNING DEVICE:

The scanner is the computer used to convert hard copies into soft copies.

TYPES OF SCANNING DEVICES:

(i) DRUM SCANNER; They are considered the first to use scanners they use photomultiplier tubes for better performance.

(ii) HAND-HELD SCANNER: 

Hand-held scanners or hand scanners are small and compact in size devices. they are one of the widespread input devices of the computer.

(iii) FLATBED SCANNER:

This is the most famous and popular scanner and there widely used and accepted. They are also known as desktop scanners or personal computer scanners.
